Telling the time is an essential life skill. As adults, it usually takes us no more than a second or two to tell the time, but there was a time for all of us when it wasn’t so simple.
For many students, learning to tell time will be a steep learning curve and they will require loads of practice before mastering it.
Fortunately, practicing telling time does not have to be boring or monotonous for them with telling time activities and games from Games 4 Learning.
TELLING TIME GAMES AND ACTIVITIES
No matter what stage your kiddos are at with learning to tell time, we have a set of games and activities that will give them the practice they need to gain confidence and master this important skill.
Five sets of telling time games and activities are available:
- telling time to the hour
- telling time to the hour and half hour
- telling time to the quarter-hour
- five-minute intervals
- telling time to the minute
Each set in this series contains 7 games, 2 color by code activities and 7 cut and paste activities. They make a great telling time center as the activities are fun, engaging, and meaningful.
While completing the activities and playing the games, your students will be constantly reading and matching times on analog clocks, times on digital clocks and times written in words.

Download these telling time cut and paste activities for FREE. To complete these cut and paste activities, your students will read and then match the times on analog and digital clocks. These worksheets are great as part of a telling time center or as a fun homework activity.
FREE TELLING TIME GAMES
In these fun and engaging games, students will take turns to roll the dice, find a clock with that number and then cover the clock with a counter- after they correctly read the time on that clock! The winner is the player who covers the last clock!
This game board is provided in both color and in black and white- you choose how to print.
